MedicScan OCR with ScanShell 800R is an insurance card scanner and software package, that scans insurance cards and saves both the image and the extracted textual data, into a file.
MedicScan OCR is an insurance card scanner with extensive OCR capabilities. It extracts the textual information from the medical insurance card image into appropriate text fields, and saves them to external file, clipboard or third party software.
MedicScan OCR has a flexible data extraction configuration. User can select to extract full card's image, and in case of ID cards, select to extract face image and signature image too. User can select if he wants to export the extracted data to a predefined web address, or a user-selected text file.
MedicScan OCR offers the possibility to define that text extracted by the insurance card scanner, from the scanned card will be saved to a text file. This text file which will have the same name as the image file (ending with the .txt extension), and which will be placed in the directory where the image files are saved.
ScanShell 800R features:
This insurance card scanner is a small, lightweight scanner that is connects to the computer USB port and does not require a power supply.
