Power over Ethernet Kit with Injector & Splitter

This PoE kit lets you power your router through an Ethernet cable -- the AC adapter doesn't have to be near the router!

This item works by carrying the current from your routers AC adapter over the Ethernet cable's wires that don't carry data to your router.

These PoE kits have a range of roughly 50 meters for 12V routers and 15 meters for 5V routers.

Greater distances can be achieved by using AC adapters with slightly higher DC voltage ratings.

This item is compatible with practically all Linksys routers including the WRT54G series and many D-Link, Cisco, Airlive, Senao, Wline, Micronet, Edimax, WRAP boards and other devices.

Specifically, this item will work with anything that uses an AC adapter with a barrel connector size 5.5mm x 2.1 mm.
