The Portamate 6-Shelf Wood Storage Rack is a multipurpose racking system, providing generous storage capacity for wood, pipes, and other long items. Its ideal for woodworking shops, garages, sheds, or any other area where long items need to be stored neatly. It mounts to the wall, and at less than 4 in height, its that perfect size for both ease-of-use convenience and ample capacity. The recommended mounting distance between the rails is 4-6 feet, but can also depend on your specific needs. If your material is shorter, you can certainly mount them close together (weve even heard of people using these to store guitars). Made from powder coated 1-inch steel tubing, theres a 100lb capacity for each level, meaning you need not worry about heavier items or boards. Its also fine for outdoor use it can be mounted to almost anything (even a fence) to bring six levels of storage anywhere you need it.
