The Fastlane FL1X4-B polyurethane 1 channel drop over cable protector is made from reaction injection molded (RIM), UV-stabilized polyurethane to protect cables, electrical cords, and hoses with an outside diameter of up to 1"/25.4 mm from wear and compression caused by vehicular traffic (up to 2,100 lb./10,614 kg per axle) while helping to reduce the danger posed by loose cables in the path of pedestrians. Its drop over design with single 4"/101.6 mm wide channel is easy to deploy and remove, and provides a low profile at 1.5"/38.1 mm high to reduce the risk of tripping accidents. The cable protector has two L-shaped connectors on each side (two male connectors on one side and two female connectors on the other) for interlocking multiple connectors to extend coverage across wide passages. This cable protector is manufactured using a process called Reaction Injection Molding (RIM), which results in a consistency beneficial when connecting multiple protectors. The polyurethane used is nonconductive and resistant to damage from abrasion, oils, and solvents. The surface has a patented five-bar tread pattern for traction, and molded safety symbols that meet American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Z535.3-1991 standards.
