This Black Route 66 guitar (610210) is a full-sized, 22-fret guitar with a basswood archtop single-cutaway body, a bolt-on maple neck, a rosewood fingerboard, and chrome machine heads/tuning pegs. It uses two dual-coil humbuckers, which produce the distinctive sound used in southern rock, heavy metal, electric blues, reggae, and classic hard rock. A three-position switch on the body above the fingerboard allows you to easily select between the bridge and neck pups, or both together. The 5-Watt 1x8 Guitar Combo Tube Amplifier (611705) produces the kind of superior, warm tone you've come to expect from tube amplifiers. It uses a ECC83/12AX7 preamplification tube and a 6V6GT power tube for the amplifier section, plus a Celestion Super 8 GBA-15 speaker. It features a Low input and a High input, with the former attenuating the signal by approximately 50% and the latter being easier to overdrive. The cabinet is ported in the rear and features a leather handle, cloth speaker grill, and a cream-colored, textured, synthetic leather exterior with chrome corner guards.
