This NSi Industries IPL4-4A Polaris insulated connector block connects up to four cables from American Wire Gauge (AWG) #4 to #14. It is insulated with plastisol for high-dielectric strength and resistance to chemicals, abrasion, and UV radiation, and is dual rated for use with both copper and aluminum cables. It is not recommended for use with fine-stranded, flexible wire, and does not support combustion applications. The connector comes with removable access plugs that cover 1/8" hex screws, which hold the wires in place in the block. Wire entry ports are located on one side of the connector only. The connector is rated for 600V and has a temperature range of -45 to +90 degrees C. It measures 1.97 x 1.5 x 1.12 inches (L x H x W), and is Underwriters Laboratories (UL) and Underwriters Laboratories of Canada (cUL) Listed. (L is length, the horizontal distance from left to right; H is height, the vertical distance from bottom to top; W is width, the horizontal distance from front to back.)
