Control a light or appliance using this Z-Wave® In-Wall On/Off Module from Monoprice! Z-Wave is an interoperable, two-way RF mesh networking technology used for home automation and security. AC-powered Z-Wave devices, such as this module, act as signal repeaters for the Z-Wave network, so multiple devices result in more possible transmission routes, which helps eliminate RF "dead spots" in the network. Any Z-Wave enabled device displaying the Z-Wave logo can be used with Z-Wave devices from other manufacturers. This module allows you to turn an appliance on or off wirelessly, using the Z-Wave controller or as a programmed response to a triggered event. It is small enough to fit in an electrical box and can handle loads of up to 800 watts at 110 VAC (1300 watts at 220 VAC). It can be installed into a system with a single on/off switch, with a single switch equipped with an indicator light, or with two separate switches. This module supports FLiRS.
