Product Description

Make life easier and more enjoyable with a fun and functional Brainstream product!

Stop searching, start finding! The SOI (pronounced Zoe) automatic handbag light from Brainstream makes finding items like keys and phones that settle on the bottom of a cluttered purse easier than ever! SOI gets activated by just tapping it lightly with your hand or by a close movement. A working sensor detects the energy fields of the hand or the body in general--to make it simple for those without a PHD in electronic engineering---it's a proximity sensor. Easy-peasy! Once activated, it will light the purse for 10 seconds and then turn off automatically. This sensor prevents items bouncing around in your purse from activating it, while allowing you to even activate the light in the winter with gloves on. It requires no buttons or switches to turn it off. The SOI is driven by two AAA batteries that will provide energy for over 6000 cycles. If the batteries fade, they can simply be replaced. Just place the SOI in the palm of your hand and twist counter-clockwise, this will open the shell to change the batteries. While designed to be used in a purse, the SOI is great as a bed and travel light. Made entirely in Germany.

The roots of Brainstream can be traced back to 2000 when German engineer and entrepreneur Rupprecht Gabriel became fed up with his poorly boiled breakfast eggs. Sometimes his eggs came out too hard while other times they were much too runny for his likely. In hopes of sparing himself this frustration, he sought to invent a product that did the work for him-resulting in Brainstream's first product: the BeepEgg. After it's great success, Gabriel then formed a creative team to create a small, but strong assortment of products that fit the claim "fun and functional." Today, their little everyday aids are available in more than ten countries worldwide.
