European Butters contain a higher butter fat content (less water) which gives them a unique mouthfeel and a creamier, smoother texture. Chef Shamy has somewhat Americanized their version by adding a little salt but with less than regular butter. This touch of salt brings out the natural butter flavor. It will be hard to go back to regular butter after putting this version on your favorite bread.
