Product Description
Class One: The Basics - Nikon DSLR $14.95 reserves your seat and is refunded back to you on a pictureline gift card. Get the most from your Nikon camera by joining us on Saturdays from 10:00am to 11:30am at the Pictureline store for our Getting to Know Your Camera series. This is a 3-part series where you will learn all about key camera controls - what they are, and more importantly, how to use them to get great shots. This is the first installment of our "Getting to Know Your Camera" classes. In this course, we will discuss the following subjects: Shutter Shutter Speed is important to consider in order to avoid motion blur when capturing moving subjects. We will discuss which settings work best with a variety of subjects and lighting circumstances. Aperture Create beautiful bokeh and soft backgrounds in portrait images, or sharp landscapes from corner to corner after discovering how to control your aperture settings in this class. ISO Learn how to determine appropriate compensation for available light, and properly expose your images using your camera's ISO settings. Exposure The overall lighting of your image contains various factors that can be narrowed to one concept: Exposure. We will teach you what to look for before you shoot to create a dazzling final product.
