The Pelican 1560 Case boasts a lifetime guarantee of excellence due to its unbreakable, watertight, airtight, dustproof, chemical resistant and corrosion proof construction. The Pelican 1560 is a hard case made of ultra-high impact structural copolymer, which makes it extremely strong and durable. This hard case has a 0.25" neoprene o-ring seal, two easy-open double throw latches, strong polyurethane wheels with stainless steel bearings, and an automatic pressure equalization valve for changes in altitude or temperature. The Pelican 1560 Case has a 3-piece foam insert interior constructed with 2 Level Pick N Pluck(TM) with convoluted lid foam. The case uses stainless steel hardware and has padlock protectors to provide added strength and extra security against cutting and theft. The 1560 case is NATO-codified and tested to IP-67 (Ingress Protection)and Def Stan 81-41/STANAG 4280 requirements. A comfortable rubber over-molded top and side handles, retractable pull extension handle, and built-in wheels make this case easy to carry and transport.
