This sturdy, compact Triumph Sports 3-Hole Washer Toss game can be taken along on any outdoor adventure for hours of fun, from backyard BBQs to camping trips to tailgating at the big game. Teams or individual players take turns tossing the washers toward the multi-colored targets on the opposite board in order to score the most points. Two 35 by 12 inch playing boards feature a padded surface with game points by each of the three target holes. The game includes 6 two-inch diameter washers (three red and three blue). RULES: Set the game platforms (padded-side up) on even ground, approximately 18 feet apart; distance can be adjusted for ability level. Each player takes a turn throwing three washers towards the opposite team's board. The closest hole is worth 1 point, the middle hole is worth 3 points, and the furthest hole is worth 5 points. Washers must drop into the hole completely to score. A washer thrown from either team can knock other washers on the board into a hole; the owner of the knocked-in washer receives the score for the hole into which it was knocked. After each team or individual has thrown all of their washers, points are added up for all washers that landed in holes and the next round begins. The team or player with the most points scored in the last round goes first in the next. The first team to reach 21 points wins the game. For a more difficult version, the first person or team to score 21 without going over wins; for example, if a team with 18 points (3 points away from 21) earns 5 points at the end of a round, none of those points count and they will enter the next round with 18 points once again (still needing 3 points to win).
