Product Description

Red Hot Purple Primer is a clear, water thin, ultra aggressive, very fast acting low voc emissions PVC/CPVC primer. The strong, aggressive action rapidly softens and dissolves the joining surfaces of PVC and CPVC pipe and fittings. Designed for use on all schedules and classes of PVC and CPVC as well as PVC profiles that require priming. Recommended for cold weather and large diameter applications. Uniform Plumbing Code requires the use of a Purple Primer. Apply Red Hot Purple Primer prior to applying solvent cement to both mating surfaces. Proper primer application is critical, it should be "scrubbed" into both the pipe and fitting surfaces. Suitable for all PVC and CPVC applications. Approved for pressure and non-pressure, potable and non-potable, water, turf, ag, conduit, foam core, sewer,and DWV PVC applications.
