The Bright Star 2224LED WorkSAFE intrinsic flashlight is a battery-powered hand-held flashlight with an LED lamp and has a 250-hour run time, an 88-meter beam distance, a 1,930-candela peak beam intensity, and outputs 40 lumens of light, and it is suitable for use in many hazardous atmospheres. The flashlight tube, lens ring, and bottom cap are made of polypropylene and the lens is made of polycarbonate for strength and to resist impact when dropped on concrete from height of up to 1 m. The flashlight is Ingress Protection certified IP67 for protection from dust and protection when immersed in water up to 1 m deep for up to 30 minutes. It has a three-way switch to turn the light on, make the light flash, and turn it off. An S-biner double-gated carabineer is included for attaching the flashlight to equipment, work belts, and other items. The flashlight runs on three D carbon zinc batteries (sold separately). It complies with UL 783 Standard for Electric Flashlights and Lanterns for Hazardous (Classified) Locations and with UL 913 Standard for Intrinsically Safe Apparatus and Associated Apparatus for Use in Class I, II, III, Division 1, Hazardous (Classified) Locations. It is 10.2"/25.1 cm long and measures 2.3"/5.8 cm wide at the head.Specifications
