The blades are hardened and ground to a super sharp edge and very sharp point. The bright, highly visible orange handles help to keep you from losing the scissors and they are designed for either right or left hand use. The stainless steel resists rust so you can wash the scissors, if necessary. Measuring 5 inches in overall length, they have 2 inch blades. This is a multi-use scissors but the extra sharp point makes it especially suitable for needlework. The scissors is provided with a plastic blade cover for safe handling and then packaged in a plastic sheath with inch and millimeter scale printed on the package.
