The curved leg is run along a surface edge while the scriber marks at a preselected distance, designating a line parallel to the workpiece edge. This caliper is made of high carbon steel with a brushed, natural steel finish. The 950-241 takes measurements in both inch and metric units. The inside depth is 6".
