Product Description
These clubs have never been hit; however, they cannot be sold as new as they could be un-hit returns, from store inventory, or cancelled orders. These clubs could exhibit some minor scuffs on the sole or crown from handling. Blemished clubs typically offer a significant value compaired to new clubs as they cannot be sold as new despite being in good, un-hit condition. These Clubs will not come with Headcovers or Wrenches. TaylorMade Blemished RocketBladez 4-PW, AW Iron Set with Steel Shafts The first distance iron to make it on tour, TaylorMade RocketBladez Irons are powered by the Speed Pocket. This little thing has changed the iron forever. Only RocketBladez are powered by the Speed Pocket to promote radically increased speed and distance. This revolutionary technology is engineered for optimum face-flex, creating a consistent and stronger ball flight. RocketBladez are the true blend of the finesse the pros demand and the explosive distance amateurs crave. Get them or get left behind. RBZ Speed Pocket Inspired by the distance-enhancing benefits of the RBZ Speed Pocket technology that makes RocketBallz fairway woods and Rescues so fast and long, TaylorMade engineers found a way to incorporate a Speed Pocket into irons. The result is a once-in-a-lifetime innovation that revolutionizes iron performance not only in terms of distance, but also distance-control and feel. The RBZ Speed Pocket in RocketBladez irons flexes and rebounds at impact, increasing the speed of the face to promote faster ball speed and a higher, stronger ball flight that lands on a steep, quick-stopping descent angle. This Speed Pocket advantage is especially effective on impacts made low on the face, TaylorMade studies indicate that 72% of iron shots hit by amateur golfers are struck below center face. The RBZ Speed Pocket in all RocketBladez iron models is filled with a Polyurethane Reactive (PUR) made by 3M that keeps out debris and dampens unwanted vibration while still allowing the slot to flex at impact. The RBZ Speed Pocket, in conjunction with the highly sophisticated face design (11% thinner than TaylorMades previous thinnest), adds up to 10 COR points to the face compared to Burner 2.0 irons, and promotes dramatically less drop-off in ball speed on impacts low on the facewhere the majority of iron mis-hits occur. That means the COR low on the face is higher than its ever been in a TaylorMade iron, and the benefit is that thin shots carry significantly farther. Ultra-thin clubface with improved Inverted Cone design The RocketBladez clubface consists of strong, maraging stainless steel. It is TaylorMades most sophisticated clubface design yet, made possible by more evolved analysis and testing and their increasing mastery of the manufacturing processes. Its the thinnest iron face theyve ever created, with the top section now 1.6 mm, down from 1.8 thats 11% thinner. RocketBladez irons also incorporate their newest and most effective iteration of Inverted Cone Technology. The improved Inverted Cone design delivers two critical benefits. One, it increases the size of the clubface area that delivers high ball speed. Two, it influences how the face flexes and rebounds at impact to control the angle at which the ball leaves the face, promoting straighter shots and a tighter dispersion. This is a critical benefit that promotes significantly greater accuracy compared to previous high COR irons. Low and centered CG location Impacting the ball where the CG is located on the face is critical to achieving maximum ball speed. In RocketBladez irons, TaylorMade engineers fine-tuned the CG to a low and absolutely centered location on the face by shortening the hosel to save weight and taking additional weight from the top of the club, then redistributing it all in strategic areas within the head. In the RocketBladez clubhead design, 17.5 grams of redistributed weight enabled us to lower the CG by 2.5 mm compared to the Burner 2.0 iron. Locating the CG low
