The Amflo 545HR-RET manual hose reel with gold polyurethane air hose is a fully-assembled manual air hose reel that serves as a connection point for pneumatic tools when the attached hose is connected to a remote compressed air source. The hose is 75 ft. long, has a 3/8" inside diameter (ID), and is made of polyurethane, which has non-marring characteristics and provides resistance to weathering, abrasion, oil, and kinks. It functions effectively at temperatures ranging from -40 to +160 degrees F, and has a maximum pressure rating of 200 pounds per square inch (psi). The reel, constructed of steel components, can be mounted on a wall, floor, or ceiling to provide a convenient location for pneumatic tool connections. This assembly comes equipped with two factory-installed brass male National Pipe Thread Taper (NPT) fittings, an attached brass industrial interchange connector and bend restrictor on the hose end, and two attached brass industrial interchange couplings on the reel for tool connections. This hose and reel assembly is suitable for commercial and industrial applications, such as roofing, where the compressed air source is located remotely from the work area.Industrial hoses transfer or convey air or liquid in hose systems. When selecting industrial hoses, use the STAMPED method:The inside diameter of the hose must be adequate to keep pressure loss to a minimum and avoid damage to the hose due to heat generation or excessive turbulence. The hose must be capable of withstanding the minimum and maximum temperatures that occur within the hose system. Some applications require specialized oils or chemicals to be conveyed through the system. In this case, hose selection must ensure compatibility of the hose tube, cover, couplings and O-rings with the fluid used. Industrial hoses are used in systems such as air compressors, automatic manufacturing operations, aircraft controls, and tire installation in industries including agriculture, mining, road construction, firefighting, and aviation.Plews & Edelmann manufactures automotive and pneumatic hose, lines, reels, accessories, fittings, and lubricants under the Edelmann, Amflo, Omega, LubriMatic, and UltraLube brands. The company, founded in 1909, is headquartered in Dixon, IL.What's in the Box?
