Product Description
Chef's Knives - Slice, chop, dice and mince. Nothing sticks to the blade of this masterful Wusthof Classic ridge knife for prep. Innovative German-engineering produces an unsurpassed knife with a deflecting ridge to push away food, while holes create pockets of air to release, significantly reducing drag and friction. Precision-forged from a single piece of high-carbon rust-free steel, this Wusthof ridge knife features a sharp definitive point to pierce cleanly, and keep delicate interiors intact. The Wusthof ridge knife penetrates tough-skinned vegetables, delicate fruits, thick rind on melons and hard-crusted breads, using minimal pressure. With a slightly-curved angle and wider blade, the Wusthof ridge knife is an unprecedented precision chef's knife, allowing the rocking motion and instant release to prep with the proficiency of a gourmet chef. Slice vegetables paper thin, julienne strips, segment citrus or slice fruit, and create hors d'oeuvres with this multi-use vegetable knife and watch food fall from the blade.
