Transfer leaves are lightly pressed onto a paper. Then the paper can be handled by hand and applied to whichever surface is desired. After, the back paper can be removed. Similar to a sticker. Edible gold is used on and in gourmet foods, notably pastries and cocktails as a decorative ingredient. It is non-toxic and non-irritating when ingested. Also, edible gold has no expiration date.
