Anna Sparrow is a stay-at-home mom who volunteers at the local food bank. There she meets Maria Sanchez, a vibrant young mother who uses her incredible cooking skills to feed the hungry. The two women, from highly divergent backgrounds, find a common bond in their love for their children. Maria is concerned about her shy young daughter, Bella, especially since her husband lost his job and has started drinking.
