This compact 150 Watt power inverter has 1 AC outlet to charge your home powered electronics and 1 USB port with 5 Volt and 2.1 Ampere output. Traditional USB ports have an output ranging from 5 milliampere to 1 Ampere, but iPad and tablets require 2.1 Ampere USB ports. Other compatible electronics include e-readers, laptops, smartphones, mp3 players, etc. It allows you to run and charge electronics in your vehicle. As an added bonus, the DC cord detaches to reveal a built in airline port so this can also be used on an airplane too (requires compatible power port on airplane). This inverter has several safety features, such as overvoltage, overload, short circuit, and high temperature protection and low voltage shut-off.
