The monocular features a powerful, integrated IR illuminator for optimal lighting in the darkest conditions. Equipped with an auto-gated, thin-filmed law enforcement grade tube, the pvs-14 provides a high 57-64 LP/mm resolution that delivers crisp Imaging. Its auto-gating feature maintains the Operator's visibility of their target by adapting the image intensifier tube to dynamic lighting conditions such as in Urban environments. The monocular can be combined with a wide range of optional accessories; including night vision compatible weapons sights and weapons mounts, allowing the shooter to customize their use. With its exceptional battery life, the unit operates at a maximum of 50 hours on a single AA battery. Its low battery/IR Indicator lets the operator know when the battery is low or the IR illuminator is activated. This device includes a Green, military soft case with shoulder strap for added protection, and an official data sheet that confirms the unit has been tested and Matched spec for spec.
