As its name implies, the all-new OGRE Tubeholic Overdrive mimics the warm breakup of and overdrive of a cranked tube amplifier. The Tubeholic Overdrive has a wider frequency response than that of other overdrive pedals. With its true bypass signal chain, variable gain, high output level, pronounced sustain and clean boost function the Tubeholic is the perfect addition to any player's rig. Its tone is achieved via symmetrical clipping by using a special NOS diode and can be enough for many players to experience a new world of overdrive tone. Aside from tone, the unique enclosure design is not seen on any other effect pedals. The sliding-type cockpit head cover system, which is the first of its kind, is an exclusive design devised by OGRE in order to protect tone settings on stage.
