The Moread Mini DisplayPort to HDMI cable is reliable for transmitting signals from MacBook, MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, iMac or a device with Mini DisplayPort / Thunderbolt port to high-definition monitor, projector, HDTV or a device with HDMI port.

Specifications

- Transmits both audio and video (Macs made before 2010 are NOT able to output audio over Mini DisplayPort)

- Supports Mini DisplayPort 1.1a input and HDMI 1.3b output

- Supports video resolutions up to 1080p (Full HD)

- Supports HDMI 225 MHz / 2.25 Gbps per channel (6.75Gbps all channel) bandwidth

- Supports HDMI 12 bit per channel (36 bit all channel) deep color

- Supports uncompressed audio such as LPCM

Important Notes

- This is not a bi-directional cable; it only transmits signals from Mini DisplayPort / Thunderbolt to HDMI

- Mini DisplayPort is not compatible with Macs (before 2008) that have Mini-DVI
