Product Description

Santoku Knives - A new favorite in American kitchens, this 7" Asian version of a chef's knife has a cleaverlike shape with a straight edge for precision slicing and chopping. The hollow-ground edge is stick-resistant for ultra-smooth performance. About Shun Classic: Made in Japan, where kitchen cutlery is an artform, this cutlery is widely admired by professional chefs for its precision performance and cutting-edge design. The Damascus-style blade is forged of VG10 "super steel" clad in 16 layers of SUS410 high-carbon stainless steel on each side for an incredibly sharp and long-lasting edge. The blade's distinctive moire pattern reflects the meticulous process of folding and hammering the layers together, ensuring superior strength. D-shaped Pakkawood handle fits the hand superbly for exceptional comfort and control. Stainless steel bolster enhances ergonomic performance. Dishwasher safe.
