Contemporary styling and functional sleeping space are combined in this wonderful bunk bed. The top bunk twin size bed and lower bunk full size futon bed are great for siblings, sleepovers and storytime. Designed and engineered with safety in mind, this bunk bed has heavy gauge 3" diameter metal tubing, full-length guardrails, and sturdy welded metal slat system for mattress support. Ladders are integrated on each side of bed. The bed uses a standard twin size mattress and full size futon mattress (sold separately). Only use a twin size mattress that is 74-75" long and 37.5-38.5" wide on the upper bunk. This bunk bed has been tested and certified by an independent testing laboratory to meet all minimum requirements of ASTM F1427-04 and U.S. CFR Title 16 Part 1513. Maximum total weight is not to exceed 300 lbs. on the upper bunk. Some assembly required.
