The Riga V is a new larger version of these top of the line German hobby greenhouses for the serious gardener, schools, Farmer's Market growers, etc. (9'8"W x 17'2"L x 7'6"H; 165 sq. ft.). This greenhouse offers the most efficient design for year-round use. The special sloped roof provides maximum head space, but prevents snow build-up and allows heavy winds to blow over the unit. Hail literally just bounces off. The greenhouse is made with German precision engineering from heavy duty aluminum profiles and 8mm and 10mm UV coated twin-wall polycarbonate glazing. It offers the best insulation in its category, R-factor: 3.0-3.2 and uses less energy than other hobby greenhouses to heat. The unique design of the greenhouse has the best ratio between framing and polycarbonate panels, which allows for maximum light transmittance and less "moving" shade. It comes with an oversized rear-wall window (30"W x 42"H), three oversized roof window (40"W x 24"H) with automatic openers and an extra large Dutch-Barn style front door with lock (30"W x 72"T). Also included are two full-length suspended shelves (14" deep top shelf, 25" deep bottom shelf) and 6" high aluminum base (to keep the unit anchored in the ground). Easy one day to assembly requires two people.
