Product Description

Our products are made from plants, not petroleum, and guaranteed to turn to soil in a commercial composting facility. We use three primary materials: IngeoTM PLA, plant fiber and paper. IngeoTM PLA (polylactic acid) is a plant-based polyester derived from corn. Plant fiber comes from both sugar cane and wheat straw, both agricultural bi-products. Our paper is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council, which supports responsible forest management worldwide. All World Centric products compost within 2-4 months and are certified by the Biodegradable Products Institute (BPI) and also certified bio-based products by the USDA.
