These brad-point drill bit sets are marketed by WL Fuller, Inc. who are known for their high-quality woodworking bits. Brad-point drill bits are ideal for the woodworker because they are easily centered and cut very clean holes. These sets are made from HSS (high- speed steel) for longer-lasting cutting edges. Shank sizes are drill bit sizes unless specified differently. WF25195101 includes sizes 5/64 to 1/2 inch by 64ths, #1 to #47 wire gauge, and A to Z letter sizes. WF34095008 and WF34093008 include 9/64 to 1 inch by 64ths with 6 inch overall lengths and 1/2 inch shanks. The only difference in these two sets is the first one comes with a metal index and the second one comes in a wooden case. WF41092007 refects the most popular sizes from 1/8 to 1/2 inch by 16ths with 1/4 inch shanks. Keep in mind that the smallest drills in some of the sets cannot be brad-pointed.
