he contributed to the American Songbook. This CD
covers some of those known and unknown gems!
With a long and prestigious career in Hollywood and
on the stage, Green composed over 100 songs, pairing
with such well-known lyricists as E.Y. Yip Harburg,
Johnny Mercer, Edward Heyman, and Leo Robin. According to Ernie Harburg, Yip s son, the song
Foolish Baby, has never been recorded before!
Liner notes include historical notes on each song, as
well as a personal statement from Linda Kosut.
