3DXTech supplies a wide range of premium 3D Printing Materials - including carbon fiber, carbon nanotube, and 27 different colors of PLA and ABS. Polyimide Tape (Kapton) is used on 3D Printer Platforms and offers an excellent surface for adhering your prints. The polyimide tape's silicone adhesive adheres easily to a many print surfaces and won't leave a sticky residue. 3DXTech offers a wide variety of sizes to fit almost any 3D Printer. The 7 inch wide polyimide tape offers an excellent print surface and is wide enough to cover most commercial 3D Printer Platforms. The polyimide tape is 1mil thick (0.025mm) and provides a smooth heat-resistant surface that easily removes once you have finished your print. Polyimide Tape offers excellent electrical insulation, high temperature resistance, and high voltage resistance. Note: 1mil Polyimide Tape is best used with 3D Printers that have a removable print surface (i.e., high-temp glass, perf board, etc.). Manipulating the 1mil tape can be tricky and takes some practice. Our 2mil Polyimide Tape + Release liner may be a better option for printers without removable print surfaces. Some customers find our 2mil tape a bit stiffer and easier to apply to printers without removable print surfaces. Suitable for use on Makerbot Replicator, Ultimaker, Prinrbot, Reprap, Mendel, Prusa, Up! Printers, Solidoodle as well as any printer that a heated bed.
