The Rubbermaid Commercial Brute trash can is a round 32-gallon, LLDPE garbage can that has been hot stamped with the logo for the Boston Red Sox, comes in team colors with its midnight navy can and red snap-on lid, and is officially licensed by Major League Baseball (MLB). LLDPE (linear low-density polyethylene) has greater resistance to dents, cracks, punctures, and ultraviolet (UV) rays than LDPE (low-density polyethylene). A double-ribbed base provides stability. The garbage can measures 27.25" high and 22" in diameter, weighs 8.24 pounds, and has a capacity of 32 gallons.Trash cans are used for the disposal and temporary storage of garbage. They are typically made of plastic or metal and sometimes have a top or lid to contain odors and waste. Certain garbage cans meet Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements for the disposal of medical waste or National Sanitation Foundation/American National Standards Institute (NSF/ANSI) requirements for food handling and processing.
