The Ajax Scientific Polished Glass Double-Convex (Bi-Convex) Lens has two outwardly curved surfaces that converge light rays to a point for demonstrating optical principles and effects for students. The lens has a focal length of 250mm and is 50mm in diameter. It is made of polished glass with ground edges. Lenses are used in scientific experiments and classroom demonstrations.
