This Ham-Let Let-Lok adapter compression fitting is made of stainless steel 316, has a male NPT connection and a tube connection, and is suitable for use in high-pressure applications. This adapter fitting has a tube connection on one end and a male National Pipe Taper (NPT) threaded connection on the other for connecting to a female NPT threaded tube. The NPT threads create a tighter seal than straight threads. This tube fitting consists of four parts, a body, a front ferrule, a back ferrule and a nut, providing a leak-resistant assembly. It is made of stainless steel 316 for higher strength and greater corrosion resistance than stainless steel 304. It has a maximum operating pressure rating of 11,000 pounds per square inch (psi) at a temperature range of -100 to +1,000 degrees F. This adapter compression fitting meets American Society for Testing and Materials International (ASTM) A213 and A269 standards for quality assurance and is suitable for use in petrochemical, fluid, power, nuclear, electronic, and other industrial applications.Tube fittings are components used for connecting, branching, terminating, and changing the direction of tubing in pneumatic and hydraulic systems. They are made of brass, stainless steel, PBT (polybutylene terephthalate), and other materials that resist corrosion and wear. Tube fittings have various types of connections, including threaded, welded, barbed, and push-to-connect (also called one-touch). Push-to-connect connections do not require tools or sealants. Tube fittings are used in various applications, including machine tools, airplane and truck controls, and automated production lines, among others.Ham-Let manufactures instrumentation valves, pipe, and tube fittings.
