This accidental damage plancovers accident damages including cuts, tears, gouges, scratches aswell as stains from food, ink and bodily fluids. The five-year planalso covers frames and spring mechanisms, provided themanufacturer's warranty has already expired, so you can restassured that you'll get your money's worth for your furniture. This plan covers only accidental damage, it does not covermanufacturer defects. If the damaged item is not able to berepaired, you will be refunded the purchase price of your contract,and your contract terminates. All damage must be reported within 5 business days, and damagemust be from a single incident. Accumulation of stains or damagewill not be covered. WHAT IS COVERED: Food, beverage, or ballpoint pen ink (ballpoint pen ink is not covered on indoor or outdoor wood) A Puncture, cut, tear or rip Any burn or heat mark Nail polish or nail polish remover Human or pet bodily fluids, except perspiration, hair and body oils (Not covered on indoor or outdoor wood) Any scratch, gouge, chip, or cracking and bubbling of finish (Indoor Wood and other hard surfaces) Breakage of table tops, welds, or umbrella mechanisms (Outdoor wood, glass, and metal areas) The following mechanisms are only covered if an original manufacturer warranty has since expired: Frames, springs, sleeper, reclining, inclining WHAT IS NOT COVERED: Manufacturer defects Furniture being used for commercial, institutional, or rental purposes Seam separation, stress tears or fabric flaws ( Tearing or ripping of upholstery within one-half inch of and parallel to the seam line) Fading, color loss, or color change Any damage to suede, Nubuck, or exotic leathers Cracking and peeling of leather Loss of foam or innerspring resiliency (Including body impressions) Scuffing, pilling or fraying of fabric Damage to Wicker, rattan, or woven resin furniture
