This multi-function remote cord provides an automatic timer function, allowing you to choose the delay, exposure time, interval, and number of shots. The shutter speed can be selected with the camera if desired. It also has a manual release with a button on the cord. Photographs can be taken manually even when the timer is running.

The timer can be set anywhere from 1 second to 99 hours, 59 minutes, 59 seconds. The buttons are designed to be operated with a single thumb. The super large LCD panel can be illuminated for easier viewing.

The shutter release button on the remote is a two-stage button: half-pressing the button will cause the camera to focus, and fully-pressing the button will trigger the camera's shutter.
