Product Description

Callaway XR Pro Fairway Wood In the Callaway XR Pro Fairway Wood, Callaway started from scratch and changed everything from the Face Cup to the shape to make better golfers even longer than they already are. Its led by the next-generation Forged Hyper Speed Face Cup that increases ball speeds across the face for greater distance and forgiveness, whether youre playing it off the tee or the fairway. More distance and consistency are the highlights of adding a re-engineered Internal Standing Wave, and the completely redesigned shape provides a deeper face for better players. All these new technologies give better players what they need to pick up more yards. Higher Ball Speed and Forgiveness Across the Face Callaway developed a lighter, thinner, next generation of the Forged Hyper Speed Face Cup. It increases ball speed all across the face and makes this fairway wood easier to hit with more forgiveness. More Distance Where You Need It A lower center of gravity (CG), more consistency, and even more ball speed off the tee or in the fairway are what we get when we move the weight low and more forward with the re-engineered Internal Standing Wave. Completely Redesigned Head Shape for Better Players A deeper face vs. the XR Fairway Wood makes this club more playable off the tee. The CG weighting and sloping crown make it easier to shape the ball and create a draw vs. X2 Hot Pro. Speed from Maximum Shaft Load The shaft is a key component to speed, thats why Callaway put in the new Project X LZ. It produces maximum shaft load during the downswing for greater energy transfer to the ball.
