This four-string acoustic-electric violin produces a rich and balanced tone across all the strings. It is constructed from fine Carpathian spruce, and features a Realist pickup built into the instrument that allows it to retain its organic sound qualities even when it is amplified. It features an input jack in the back of the instrument so the patch cable stays out of the player's way, and the volume knob built in to the treble-side rib of the instrument is camouflaged in the color of the violin's varnish. Should the instrument require servicing, as is expected of instruments with electronics built in, the pickup system is easily removable so that repairs can be made without compromising the instrument's structure.
