The 2010 Three is a blend of 55% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon that was cropped at 29 hectoliters per hectare and vinified parcel by parcel. It has a rich, extravagant bouquet that has immense volume thanks to the ripe Merlot with plush dark plum, raspberry and sloe aromas. You could almost describe it as exotic. The palate is medium-bodied with mocha and dark chocolate on the entry. It is certainly very smooth and very polished with fine tannins. It is a seductive, rather old school Bordeaux blend, but one that is well-crafted with sufficient dryness on the finish to beckon another sip. Drink now-2019
