Botanical Name: Mentha piperita Extraction Method: Steam Distilled Common Uses: Peppermint is greatly known to help with digestive problems, headaches, fevers, sinuses, muscle and nerve pain, and so much more. Because of its menthol content, Peppermint has been known to have a cooling effect. It is refreshing, a mental stimulant and energizer. Strength of Aroma: Strong Blends well with: Basil, Bergamot, Cajeput, Cedarwood, Eucalyptus, Lemon, Lime, Mandarin, Marjoram, Niaouli, Pine, Rosemary, Spearmint and Thyme. Aromatic Scent: Peppermint has strong minty note with herbaceous warm undertones. Cautions: Do not apply to or near the face of infants or children. We recommend a max dilution of 5% for topical applications. Suggested Uses: Diffuse Peppermint essential oil into the air to help with headaches, asthma, congestion and nausea. Peppermint essential oil is great added to a carrier oil or lotion for an uplifting massage or pedicure.
