The following magnified specimens are depicted on the slide: human blood smear (900.0X), red corpuscles (3,000.0X), white corpuscles-leucocytes (1,400.0X), phagocytosis (E-25,000.0X and ES-3,500.0X), blood type B (100.0X), fibrin (400.0X), sickle cells (100.0X), and infected blood (800.0X). The lesson plan is printed on heavy card stock for durability, and has a pocket for storing the slide, which is mounted in a clear, plastic holder for protection.
