25 tracks of Sallie and Cora Martin recorded between 1940-1952. Sallie was a singer, recording artist and gospel song publisher and was the promotional force behind the 'Father of Gospel' Thomas A. Dorsey. Sallie and her adopted daughter Cora (who sings as a soloist on three selections with choir and on 11 solo tracks) were part of the St. Paul Baptist Church Choir of Los Angeles which Sallie became the conductor of in 1948. The booklet features notes by Gospel historian Robert M. Maravich.
