Grumbacher Gloss Picture Varnish is a final varnish and protective coating for dry oil and acrylic paintings that produces a uniform glossy finish for oil and acrylic paintings. It is processed with acrylic resin and protects from atmospheric impurities. Protects oil and acrylic paintings from dirt, moisture and scuffing. Non-yellowing, flexible, and quick-drying. It is crystal clear when applied. This spray varnish should be applied to finished works that have dried for at least 6 months for oil paintings and 5 days for acrylics. Test spray nozzle before applying to work. Spray in slow, even strokes left to right. Let dry before turning work 90 degrees before re-applying. Can be easily removed with Grumbacher Pure Gum Spirits of Turpentine, Grumtine, or Odorless Paint Thinner. Not for use in oil painting medium preparation. Made in USA.
