Written for the health care worker or generalist caregiver, to provide competency based skills in excellent end of life care. Workbook activities for each topic are applied through three central themes: * Beliefs and Baggage - encourages learners to explore their own understanding of topics by teaching and implementing guided reflective writing. * Content and Concepts - lays the foundation of understanding, requiring participants to begin integrating knowledge through definitions, calculations and short answer questions. * Integration and Application - completes the learning on each topic, applying knowledge through further research, case studies, role play and small and large group discussions.
