We laser-cut the disks out of sheets of 3M product 9474LE, which is based on 3M's super-strong 300LSE adhesive. 3M's 300LSE adhesive is among the strongest and most versatile adhesive transfer tapes commercially available. It bonds extremely well with Nylon, Polyester, ABS, Polyurethane, Acrilic, metal, wood, leather, suede, fabrics, rubber, and countless other materials. 300LSE adhesive even bonds with so-called "Low Surface Energy" (hence the "LSE" in "300LSE") plastics that don't bond well at all with most other glues. Examples of low surface energy materials are PVA, Polystyrene, Acetal, EVA, Polyethylene, Polypropylene, and PTFE. 300LSE will even stick to lightly oily surfaces, such as machine parts. The adhesive is suitable for smooth surfaces as well as for lightly textured and/or lightly porous surfaces.
