Our "Spoon" supports are especially nice because their design allows the shelf to come right up against the side of the cabinet. By eliminating any gap, it makes for a really clean appearance in the cabinet. Notice too, that when the shelf is installed, it keeps the pins in position, making it impossible for them to come out.The shaft of each shelf peg is 1/4" in diameter and is 3/8" in length. That's plenty long enough to support most loads, while at the same time, allowing you to fit shelf pins on both sides of a 3/4" center panel. The "spoon" part that actually projects into the cabinet is an unobtrusive 3/8" wide x 1/2" deep. Again... perfectly up to the task of handling any normal load. They're finished with a beautiful polished nickel plating, so your shelf supports will look just as shiny and new years from now, as the day you installed them!
