Our quality iPhone adapters will fit most Telescope and Microscope eyepieces with an outside diameter of 1.5" or less. Two versions are available to fit most iPhone models directly.. without messing around with clumsy adjustable phone holders. This model fits iPhone 5 models. Includes our popular "Uni-T" eyepiece adapter for quick easy installation. Not a cheap "pipe clamp" like others! In addition the Uni-T can be unscrewed to reveal a standard Female "T" thread (42mm) for connection to many other optical devices. The case is plastic to avoid marring your phone, the Eyepiece & T-Thread adapter are CNC machined from aluminum with a durable black anodized coating and the nylon thumbscrews secure and align the adapter without marring your eyepieces. After initial setup and alignment simply loosen the 2 indicated thumbscrews and slide the unit off the eyepiece, subsequent installations on the same eyepiece will be even quicker and self-centering with just a twist of the same 2 screws. Contact us for options if you have a larger eyepiece. Works on all type of optics up to 1.5". This is an "Afocal" adapter and shoots directly through your eyepiece. See the app store for specialized software for this purpose if desired (not required). Includes a 1 year warranty against defects in material or workmanship.
