The 5 Star cutting tips are optimized for end grain drilling to bore extremely fast and make exceptionally clean entry and exit holes. Large parabolic flutes remove chips and debris without burning or jamming. All these features make the bits capable of end grain drilling the full length of a blank in a single pass - a real time saver!
