The blades are stamped from high carbon, German Krupp stainless tool steel and attached to industrial strength Santoprene handles. The partial tang extends partially through the molded handle, which allows the handle to be securely fastened to the blade. This Four Seasons 2-piece carving set includes an 8 inch Kullenschliff carving knife and a 7-inch straight carving fork. The carving knife has a narrow spear pointed 7-1/2-inch fine edge blade with Hollows. It is used to separated meat from the bone and slice it into thin portions.
